Freetech Plastics has been manufacturing high quality custom
presssure formed parts for over twenty-five years. Our design engineers
combine significant plastics experience with the latest computer
software and technology to provide innovative and economical solutions
to our customer’s most demanding projects. Our complete in-house
mold design capabilities utilize the latest versions of CAD/CAM
software, integrating part design with prototype and production
tool machining.
CNC Programmer/Set-Up/Assistant
Mold/Fixture Maker
Responsibilities:
Interact with Engineering and Machine
Shop personnel
Generate CNC programs to support New
Products / Tooling Projects
Identify tooling required to support
the CNC machine programs
Assist shop personnel to optimize
the manufacturing process defined by the CNC program
Qualifications:
Ability to develop CNC programming from CAD design drawings or
prototype parts with minimal supervision required
Working knowledge of Surfcam and Solidworks preferred
Ability to write and edit programs in G-Code
Knowledge of raw materials and related machinability (specifically
plastics and aluminum) preferred
Two or more years of experience as CNC programmer preferred
Working knowledge of 3D Surface Programming required
Good team work skills required
Good written and oral communication skills required
